BlueMatter SOC Security Alerts — Last updated: August 2026
This Privacy Policy governs the SMS security-alert messaging program operated by BlueMatter Consulting ("we", "us", "our") as part of its internal security operations (SOC). The program delivers automated security-incident notifications to the BlueMatter account owner and designated IT administrator. Questions may be directed to privacy@bluematterconsulting.com.
We collect only the mobile phone numbers of the account owner and the IT administrator. These numbers are provided by those individuals themselves for the sole purpose of receiving internal security alerts. We do not collect any other personal information through this SMS program.
Mobile phone numbers are used solely to deliver security-incident notifications — automated alerts about severe or noteworthy security events affecting BlueMatter's internal systems. Phone numbers are not used for marketing, advertising, or any purpose other than delivering these operational security alerts.
SMS opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties. We never sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose. Numbers are shared only with our SMS delivery provider strictly to transmit the security alerts you have opted in to receive.
We retain mobile phone numbers only for as long as the individual remains an active recipient of the security-alert program. When a recipient opts out or no longer requires alerts, their number is removed from the program. Message delivery logs are retained for a limited period for operational and security auditing purposes and then deleted.
Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or contact us at the email below.
